Frequently asked questions
How do I book a photoshoot?
Three steps — quick, painless, done.
1. Check availability. Drop me an email to confirm your date and time are open.
2. Choose your package. Head to the Book Online tab and select the session that fits — Family, Lifestyle, Engagement, or Wedding.
3. Secure your spot. Make the payment or deposit. A welcome email arrives within 48 hours with everything you need.
Most people book a week or two in advance, though last-minute spots do open up — always worth asking.
What is your turnaround times for editing photos?
Every session gets careful, considered editing — not a filter slapped on in five minutes.
Portraits / Family: 5–7 days
Lifestyle / Engagement: 10–15 days
Weddings: 90 days
You'll receive a full gallery of high-resolution edited images — downloadable, printable, yours to keep.
We haven't done a shoot before. Will you help us pose?
Yes — and in the most natural way possible.
I call my approach 'posed candid.' Instead of asking you to stand and stare down the lens, I'll give you something to do — walk together, whisper, laugh. Real moments, captured on purpose.
You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job.
When is the best time to do a shoot?
Golden hour — the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset — gives you that warm, glowing light that makes every shot look like it belongs in a magazine.
For Dublin, that means mornings around 6–7 am in summer, or late evenings around 8–9 pm. Overcast days are also genuinely beautiful — soft, even light, no harsh shadows.
I'll advise you on the best time when we confirm your session.
What happens if it rains during our shoot?
Dublin weather keeps everyone humble. Here's the plan.
If it's light rain, we shoot. Overcast skies and a bit of mist make for genuinely atmospheric images — some of my favourite galleries have been shot on grey days.
If it's a full downpour, we reschedule. No extra charge. I'd rather give you a stunning gallery than a soggy one.
Either way, you're covered.
